SISTER exists to increase the visibility of women, femmes, queer, nonbinary, and GNC artists. Our collective is committed to curating brave spaces that celebrate, uplift and care for the communities we highlight.
PERRA is a reggaeton party celebrating the vast Queer BIPOC community of SLC. An exploration of sexuality, sensuality, and liberation through dance.
Within SISTER spaces, racism, ableism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, fatphobia, xenophobia, and all forms of hate are not tolerated.Â
Â
This event is 21+ and IDs will be checked at the entry. No alcohol will be sold at this gathering. The venue is wheelchair accessible and we encourage the use of masks.
If you see something, say something. We keep each other safe. There will be queer security in the venue to support all guests with questions and any needs.
GENERAL ADMISSION - $20Â
Limited number of tickets, please plan ahead.
SLIDING SCALEÂ -Â $25/or moreÂ
The sliding scale tickets are OPTIONAL to our non-queer/BIPOC supporters as a means of showing appreciation, offering reparation, and giving compensation for access to the space and culture that we all love and value so deeply. Consumption of BIPOC queer culture without giving back in effective ways is not a part of our ethos. We believe in equality and we also believe that in order to attain equality for all, practices of equity must be put in place. Please consider purchasing your ticket for $25 or more if it’s possible for you. We appreciate you <3 Â
Please contact us on Instagram @sister.slc if you have any questions and/or can’t afford the entry cost. We are here for you!Â
